How to set up a simple client portal in Notion

Give your clients a shared space to track progress without endless email threads.

If you're tired of sending status updates via email, try a client portal in Notion. It's easier than you think.

Create a new page for the client. Add a database of tasks with statuses like 'To do,' 'In progress,' and 'Done.' Share the page with the client (they don't need a Notion account).

That's it. They can see what's happening any time. I add a notes section for feedback. No more 'can you resend that update?' — it's all there.

Pro tip: Use a template button to create a new portal for each client in seconds. It saved me hours.
